Ausbildung

Courses in Germany are generally three years long and are similar to an internship, where the applicant studies the relevant course for a few days a week and works for the employer in the same field for a few days.

To be accepted into Ausbildung, knowledge of the German language and a German language certificate are required at least at B1, and in many fields at B2.

Other required parameters include a minimum diploma and a maximum age of 29 years.

Ausbildung has many fields, but some fields unfortunately do not lead to a visa due to low salaries or specific conditions. One of the most popular fields for this is nursing and hotel management, as many employers need workers in these fields.

The process of obtaining admission to Ausbildung is very similar to a job offer or employment contract, with the difference that the time of the person’s arrival in Germany is during the submission phase, which is set in relation to the start of the school semester.

Applicants who have a higher language proficiency and qualifications related to the desired field have a higher chance of being accepted.
